Most Commonly Asked Questions

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks on a day yacht charter.  If you are not purchasing catering or hiring a chef we encourage guests to bring their own provisions.  Our crew will assist in serving the food and drinks you bring on board.

The route of a yacht charter varies based on destination, personal preferences, weather conditions, and charter type (term or day). Our charter specialists typically offer suggested itineraries for popular spots showcasing key sites, sandbars, coves, snorkeling spots, dining, etc.

For term charters, the route can be customized along with the help of the captain to include specific islands, beaches, landmarks, and activities like diving or fishing. Captains may also adjust the course during the journey due to changing weather or sea conditions.

The following is included in our day charters:

  • Yacht – Duration options of 4,6, or 8 hours
  • Captain/Crew – Services for your trip
  • Fuel – For local cruising at normal speed
  • Docking Fees – Vary by pickup location
  • Coolers – Stocked with Ice and waters
  • Water Toys (vary by yacht)

Staterooms are typically available during a full day yacht charter, but access can vary depending on the specific yacht and length of charter.  In many cases, staterooms are designed for overnight stays, so during a day charter, only some may be available for use as changing rooms or for resting. However, if you’re planning a longer day on the water and want the option to relax in a stateroom, it’s a good idea to confirm ahead of time. A charter specialist can confirm whether the staterooms will be accessible for your group while on charter.

Yes, fishing is often permitted on yacht charters, but it varies by specific yacht. Many yachts come equipped with fishing gear and necessary permits, especially those designed for fishing charters. Some will provide fishing rods, tackle, and bait, while others may require you to bring your own, so it’s best to check in advance. Additionally, you may need a fishing license or permit depending on local regulations. If fishing is a primary focus, you might also consider booking a dedicated fishing charter, which will offer specialized equipment and an experienced crew. Always clarify the details with the charter specialist before your trip to ensure a great experience!
